County of Brant to hold statutory public meeting on proposed 2027 Fees and Charges By-law — Nov. 24

The County of Brant has announced a statutory public meeting on its proposed 2027 Fees and Charges By-law, during the Council Meeting on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the County of Brant Council Chambers, 7 Broadway Street North, Paris.

The proposed by-law covers fees for Police, Fire, Solid Waste, and Water and Wastewater connection, meters, and miscellaneous charges, excluding water and wastewater usage rates. If passed, fees would be effective January 1, 2027, unless otherwise noted.

The report on the proposed 2027 fees and draft by-law is to be presented to Council at that meeting.

Meetings are open to the public and can also be viewed at brant.ca/Live. Comments can be emailed to the Clerk at clerks@brant.ca, or residents can request to appear as a delegation at brant.ca/Delegations. Anyone attending will have an opportunity to make a representation. Correspondence can also be sent to the County office c/o the County Clerk by mail or drop-off, with a warning that mail delays may prevent it being included in Council’s consideration.
